Origin

Canary Bell is a yellow bell pepper that goes from green to bright yellow. True Leaf Market sells it as open-pollinated Capsicum annuum with no heat, 100 days from transplant, which makes it one of the slower bells here, with fruit 3 1/2 by 4 inches on a plant 24 to 36 inches tall. The Vegetable Cultivar Descriptions compendium has a yellow bell called Canary from Stokes Seed, but lists it as an F1 hybrid maturing in 72 days, so it is a different pepper from the open-pollinated one sold today and this record does not use that entry.
