Origin
Black Strawberry is a stabilized cross of Bosque Blue Bumblebee and Strawberry Tiger from J&L Heritage Seeds — not a Brad Gates/Wild Boar Farms release, a mix-up found on several secondary garden sites but absent from Wild Boar Farms' own catalog. It carries heavy anthocyanin over an amber-red base so the fruit reads as purple-black shoulders shading into deep red, in a strawberry shape rather than a round cherry.
