Origin
Celebrity Plus is a newer selection of the 1984 AAS winner Celebrity, bred to add resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV), a thrips-spread disease that can devastate the original Celebrity where it is present. It keeps the same 8-ounce fruit and yield as Celebrity, on top of an already broad resistance package: Alternaria stem canker, Fusarium race 0-1, Stemphylium, Verticillium wilt and root-knot nematode, plus TMV.
