Origin
Blush is a small elongated yellow grape streaked pink from stem to blossom end, bred by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds in California and released in 2011; the parents, Maglia Rosa and Hempel's unreleased Zucchero, were chosen by his eight-year-old son. The sugar level is very high and the flavour is closer to a tropical fruit than to a tomato, which is the family trait of that whole breeding line.
