Origin
Lucky Tiger was bred by Fred Hempel of Baia Nicchia Farm in Sunol, California, and first offered commercially in 2014 by Johnny's Selected Seeds. It is elongated and striped green over red, with green gel around the seeds that keeps a herbaceous edge behind the sweetness.
