Origin
Orange Strawberry turned up as a stray seed in a packet of Pineapple, found by Marjorie Morris of Indiana, who named it for the fruit's shape and colour and sent it to Carolyn Male; Male listed it in the Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook in 1995. It is a large orange oxheart with the dense, nearly seedless flesh typical of the type and an unusually fruity flavour; like most oxhearts it sets sparsely, trading yield for fruit size.
