Origin
Sweet 100 is named for the trusses, which routinely carry a hundred fruit each on plants that will run to ten feet if allowed. Bred by Northrup King of Minnesota, now part of Syngenta. Its successor Super Sweet 100, bred for a fuller disease package, is what most catalogues now sell under a similar name. The skins split easily after heavy rain.
